Our Responsibilities
Fathers: Apostle John wrote in 1 John, “I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.” (1Jn 2:13) In order for us to understand as well as experience the Heavenly Father’s heart, there will be recognized and respected fathers among us to watch over the entire course of our conference. They are, listed in alphabetical order, (names?)
Brothers and sisters: Apostle Paul also wrote, “But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.” (1Co 14:40) In order to walk under the authority of the Holy Spirit and to accomplish what God has entrusted this conference, the following brothers and sisters will form the kernel team: (names?)
In addition to the brothers and sisters mentioned above, God may bring us other leaders from those who wait upon God to seek His face in accordance with the conference. They share the responsibilities in leading us to diligently enter the will of God.
Our Goal
1. We firmly believe that the Holy Spirit will remove the veil in our minds, so that “we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2Co 3:18). We hope that as we gather as one to seek the Lord’s face, our hearts will surely be revived!
2.We expect to witness powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit amongst the anointing of ardent worship. “And I... am about to come and gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see my glory.” (Isa 66:18) “I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before.” (Zec 10:8)
3. We are not organizing a program, but are simply waiting upon God and seeking his power and guidance. Through sharing, worship and dances, we will all attend to God’s voice as it has been portrayed in the Acts, “While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ ” (Ac 13:2)
